2011 was a transformative year for Victor and I.  In the spring Victor finished his five year enlistment in the Marine Corps and we became true full time photographers.  We have experienced such rapid growth over the last few years, and have been received with wide open arms by the North Carolina and Crystal Coast wedding industry.  We feel “at home” when we get to work with other area vendors and though I’ve lived in Eastern North Carolina for most of my life, being a wedding photographer and spending so much time soaking in the beauty of this place with my camera, I feel more connected to the community than I really ever have.  When others ask, “who would want to live in such a place?” I simply wonder “who wouldn’t want to?!”  As gushy as it sounds, our clients have played a huge part in making that connection to NC even stronger.  Most of you are NC natives (if not NC, then natives of the south!) and we feel your hospitality and genuine kindness in every communication we have with you.  At the end of the night, when we’ve left a reception and we’re driving home and reflecting on the day, we chat about how nice everyone was, the sweet and sincere gestures between the bride and groom, and how we couldn’t have asked to spend the day with better people.

In 2011 we were given the opportunity to photograph so many amazing couples all over North Carolina.  We consider it a tremendous compliment that our past clients have sent some of these couples our way.  To all of you, thank you for a WONDERFUL year.  You are all incredible.

Allison & Drake were wed on New Year’s Eve at First United Methodist Church in Morehead City with a reception that followed at The Ocean Club.  These two are so utterly perfect for each other…the giddiness and excitement in the air was emanating from them in the hours leading up to the ceremony and their amazing band kept them together on the dance floor until after the clock struck midnight.  We couldn’t have asked to spend our own anniversary with a better couple.  Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. B!
