I met the beautiful Krystal in January at two bridal shows. I distinctly remember her walking straight up to our booth, mom and maid of honor in tow, at the Morehead City show and saying "you're the one I want!" Well, Krystal and Will were married yesterday in Beaufort at Lennoxville Point with a reception that followed at Beaufort Grocery Co., and we were there to photograph their big day. Do you ever watch David Tutera's My Fair Wedding? I love that show. He always has a cool theme name for each of the weddings and brides he works with - if I can channel David Tutera for just a second, please. :) Krystal was definitely a "Carolina Elegance" bride. From the gorgeous hydrangea used throughout the bouquets to the centerpieces, the blue and white striped table cloths, the venue choices and Krystal's STUNNING dress...Carolina Elegance is the only way to describe it. It was really hard to select which photos we wanted to blog! Check out this preview of their day!
Here is a really good reason why I love engagement sessions and encourage my clients to schedule one with us before their wedding. Krystal and Will already spent time in front of our cameras and were comfortable and ready when it came time for their portraits on their wedding day. The result? LOTS of REALLY cute shots. Here are just a couple of them!
I adore this. Both sets of parents on their wedding days. My husband and I did the same thing at our wedding. I think this is a perfect display of why wedding photography is so important and why I love my job. I hope some day a photo I took of Krystal and Will is displayed like this when their [future] kids get married!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Pittman! Enjoy your honeymoon!!!
