If you could pick one moment that stands out to you as the best on your wedding day, what would it be? The entire reception! My mouth literally dropped when I saw the tent for the first time. Erin McLean and her team did a phenomenal job pulling everything together - it was more than I could have hoped for. We felt like the reception was just a giant party with all of our family and best friends. It truly was the most perfect evening! I wish we could relive it again.

During your wedding planning, what was your vision for your wedding day? We wanted to transform the space with the tent and the florals. One of the key focal points was the orchid installation over the dance floor and it was absolutely stunning - one of my favorite aspects of the design! Erin said it perfectly when she came up with the idea of "Southern Formal" d├ęcor, but added other elements to make it feel more laid back with the lounge furniture around the dance floor. We also loved incorporating our French bulldog, Truffle, with our wedding crest and the French Bulldog cocktail, which Chas and I actually had on a trip to San Francisco.

Describe any special traditions, personal mementos, or helpful friends/family members who played a sentimental role in your wedding planning or wedding day. As I mentioned, Erin Mclean and her team went above and beyond for our wedding. I shared a few "inspiration" photos with her at the beginning of the planning process and she ran with it. She did an amazing job and truly brought my vision to life. Both of my parents were also tremendously helpful in the planning - I almost feel as though my dad should actually be a wedding planner! Chas' mom, Georgia, has impeccable taste and put together one of the most unique and fun Rehearsal Dinners at the Boathouse in Beaufort. Lastly, I could not have done it without my Matrons and Maid of Honor. They were by my side throughout the whole process and on the wedding day. Chas and I were surrounded by so much love and support - we are very, very lucky!

What made you choose your venue(s) for your wedding day? I grew up going to Atlantic Beach and these days pretty much consider it home. Chas' family lives in Florida, where we met, and so the beach has always been a special place for us. Chas also fell in love with AB over the years, as well as Beaufort, so it felt like the perfect location!

What was your First Dance song? Is there a special story behind it? "Can't Get Enough of Your Love Babe" by Barry White. We both wanted a song that was upbeat and fun. Chas always makes fun of me for my love of Motown, but I think he has secretly grown to love it too.

What was one wedding planning decision that proved invaluable? Erin McLean Events!!! Living in New York and having a wedding in North Carolina would have been impossible without such a talented wedding planner. She and her team made everything seamless and worked with top notch vendors to execute everything to perfection.
